Who we are and why we are here

Domäsko s.r.o. is a Slovak company founded in 1996, which combines all phases of production - from poultry breeding to processing and distribution. We believe that quality, fresh and ethically raised meat should be accessible to every customer.

Our history - from humble beginnings to today's modern enterprise

• During the 1990s, we expanded our capacity, modernised our farms, which has substantially improved our energy balance.
• From 2000 to 2010, we built processing plants, giving us control over the entire process - from farm to packing.
• In recent years we have invested in welfare standards, renewable energy and reducing our environmental footprint.

Food quality and safety

Every piece of meat from us passes strict checks - veterinary, microbiological and legal standards. We make sure you get a product that is not only tasty, but also safe.

Welfare - we respect the life and health of our animals

More space, quality Slovak feed, proper care and wind conditions - all of this accounts for more than 70% of our production. 

Sustainability - protecting the nature where we live and work

We use renewable sources - photovoltaics, efficient energy consumption, eco-friendly packaging. We also look at how each step in the chain affects the environment.

Social responsibility - we are part of the community

We employ over 1,300 people, support marginalised communities, develop local partnerships and invest in our people.

What we produce and how we produce it

Poultry from own farms

• Classic chickens with proven provenance,
• Premium Gazdovské chicken - yellow, slower growing, with a stronger taste,
• Welfare lines that meet higher standards of freedom of movement and comfort.

Variety to satisfy different tastes

In addition to poultry, we bring lamb, game (about 200 deer a year), duck meat, pheasants, fish - all according to tradition and modern standards.

Our production - detailed and transparent

• The integrated production process starts at the farm and ends with you: own feed, own breeding, own processing and distribution.
• We process around 190 tonnes of poultry daily - that's more than 71,000 tonnes of meat and 36,000 tonnes of processed products annually.
• We use modern refrigerated vehicles, temperature control and hygiene at every step - to preserve freshness from farm to retailer.

• The IFS Food V8, Foundation Level certificate with a rating of 93.24% - this is our commitment to the highest standards.
• We comply with HACCP, veterinary rules, European food standards.
• Constant tests - microbiology, feed quality, cleanliness of production areas.
