How to marinate meat properly
Marinating chickenChicken breasts, chicken thighs and chicken sauté are great bases for marinating. Here are some recommendations on how to work with them:
Chicken breasts: Chicken breasts can be dry if not prepared properly. That's why it's important to marinate them for at least 30 minutes to 2 hours to keep them juicy. To marinate, use a mixture of lemon juice, olive oil, garlic, salt and black pepper. These ingredients will not only help tenderize the breasts, but also give them a pleasant citrus flavor.
Chicken thighs: Chicken thighs are juicier than breasts and therefore don't need to marinate as long. You can marinate them for 1 to 2 hours, and a yogurt and turmeric-based marinade is an excellent choice. This combination not only adds a rich flavor, but also helps tenderize the meat to make it perfectly tender.
Chicken Sauté: If you're making chicken sauté, use a marinade that contains a mixture of honey, soy sauce, and chili to give your pieces of meat an interesting sweet and tangy flavor. Marinate for at least 30 minutes, but ideally 1 hour before preparation.
